Under top minister’s (PM) agriculture projects, subsidies value Rs120 million are being provided for the welfare of farmers across the district, stated Member of National Assembly (MNA) Amir Sultan Cheema.

Speaking to the media after balloting of PM agriculture initiative for farmers, he mentioned that below the national programme, construction and maintenance of water classes, construction of water garage ponds and distribution of laser levelers had been incorporated.

“The government is distributing laser levelers among farmers who have 12 acres of land under a transparent balloting process.”

A subsidy of Rs250,000 on each leveler can be supplied whilst farmers can purchase machinery from approved distributors, he further stated.
